Up until that point, I had been dedicated to health and fitness for over three years, fully immersed in weightlifting and high-intensity workouts. Yet, I had never experienced anything quite like martial arts—a practice that balances discipline, calmness, and spirituality in a way that fitness alone could never do.
As someone with a deep understanding of digital marketing, having worked in the field for five years, I couldn’t help but take note of the contrast between the world of weightlifting gyms and martial arts schools. While fitness centers seemed to thrive with members, the martial arts gym I had joined wasn’t receiving the same attention. There was an undeniable energy in those martial arts classes—a camaraderie, a sense of inner growth—that deserved more recognition.
My instructor, who had become a close friend, shared his frustration with me. Despite his passion and the undeniable value of his training, he struggled to attract new members.
